Wednesday Morning Update

I am very blessed to tell you that there is a new member of heaven. My dad won the lottery this morning! He has found his eternal home in heaven. I am not sure of all the details of what all happened in the early hours of the morning. I am not sure I will ever know. But the one thing I know is that my father has meet our heavenly Father. God is a good and merciful God. He promised to always answer our prayers. They are not always the way we want them. But we must trust that God's is bigger then us and our plans.

I will post more later. Please check back for more details.

Thanks for the prayers!!! You have no idea how much each of you has meant to us. We may not know you all. But you are answers to our prayers.

Our hearts are hurting with you and for you. You and your family have always been an example and comfort for others. Thank you Melissa for keeping us up to date with Frank's condition. It was the last thing I looked at before I went to bed and the first thing in the morning. Take care Becky and know that we love you and are praying for you.

Becky, Daniel, David & Melissa,
We are heartsick. I have no adequate words to express how sorry we are for your loss. We loved Frank (Dwight) and thought the world of him. He has left a wonderful legacy behind with you all as the family that loved and appreciated him for the kind, funny, great man that he was. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying that God will give you the comfort and healing that only He can give. Thank you Melissa for keeping us all posted...you have no idea how much that meant to us! All our love,
Roger & Vicki

To the Douglas Family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was shocked and saddened by the news, it just breaks my heart. We will all miss Frank. Polk Mechanical Company will never be the same without him. He had such a sweet spirit, such a sweet disposition...I will never ever forget him. But I rejoice with all of you knowing that Frank is no longer suffering. He is at peace now, resting in the arms of our Lord in Heaven. His ETERNITY has begun! May the strength of God help you to stand, may His loving comfort help bring you acceptance and wipe away the tears, may His faithfulness carry you now and always. And may your memories of Frank as a loving husband, proud father and an even prouder grandpa bring you peace. Still praying for all of you. God be with you.

With love,
Lisa Stigler

My heart is hurting in hearing the news of Frank's passing. I know that he is now in such a beautiful place with no pain or sorrow. God now has you and your family in his loving hands to walk through the coming days of sorrow and loneliness. My prayers are with all of you. Frank was a very special person to me and he will be missed greatly.

Becky and family,
We have followed with keen interest your daily updates, but none has affected us like today's news, or the way in which you shared it. My team at the Baptist General Convention of Texas prayed for your whole family, as well as for the Polk Mechanical family, (where my wife, Suzanne, works). We know who holds tomorrow, and now we know He holds Frank's hand, too.

We pray you will experience a peace that passses all understanding in the days ahead.

To The Douglas Family,
My heart is sadden by the loss of such a beautiful person but we all know God wants beautiful people too and he has truly chosen one with Frank. The years that I spent at PMC with Frank will never be forgotten and most of all the smiles and that laugh of his will always remain in my heart. As I did before Frank left us I will continue to pray for and with you all. But take joy in knowing Frank was such a wonderful person and he touched a lot of lives and his memories will always bring smiles to other faces as well as yours. We love Frank but God loves him best! May God bless and keep each and every one of you!

Little golden memories keep popping in my head today, the Douglas driveway filled with a lively game of basketball...The memories he left us with will hopefully someday fill a portion of the loss. Frank made us all better people just by knowing him. Your loss is immeasurable, our hearts and prayers go out to you. I feel blessed to have considered him my friend. Ruth

Becky & Family - Although words can not begin to ease the sorrow of your loss, please know that you all are in the prayers of so many who care and loved Frank. When I read to blogg today - it took my breath away and I was consumed with many memories of Frank. Having worked for Frank right out of college at GSI, he expected excellence and was more than willing to teach and share what he knew to make others better at what they did. May the Lord's tender comfort hold you close in thought and prayer while you all walk through this time. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; John 11:25 ... Thank you for your daily blogs and for sharing with us Franks progress. our love, The Donnell Family - Greg, Lisa & Joshua (Future BCS Class of 2015)
