Kim and I, and the boys will especially be in prayer during this time for all of you. We have many, many fond memories from knowing Frank, Becky, and family when we were in Houston back in the 80's. In addition to the friendship and church fellowship, we were blessed by receiving many wonderful recipies from Becky and some excellent parenting advice from both Frank & Becky.

It is with sadness, but with joy at the home going of Dwight Douglas. Frank to you, but Dwight to me. I knew your father for over 48 years. Dwight, his brother Ron, Charlotte, his mother and father were members of a little church in a an old farm house in Country Club Hills, IL. I was a 6th grade boy and the son of the new pastor who had come to that very small congregation. The Douglas home was my second home and Dwight and Ron and I spent much time playing woofle ball, sharing baseball cards, and doing all those things young boys do. We spent time together through high school and then parted for different colleges. I never knew Dwight to be anything but a Godly boy, young man, and adult.
I am away on a trip some 5000 miles from Texas and will not be at the funeral, but I wanted to express my love for your dad and assure you that my wife and I are praying for you and your family in the days to come. His Grace is sufficient, however, I can tell from your blog....you already know that is true. :)
